Baby Sketch Book

I made this sketch book because I have so many ides that I wanted to put down on paper before I begin on my daughters baby album. She was born only 8 months ago, but I want to make sure that I have plenty of room for upcoming events, because I know that I will not get this done quickly. I used my wonderful Cricut New Arrival cartridge for most of the cuts. I dabbled with chalk, ink and other fun embellishments. I also used my fabulous Bind it All!! Thanks for looking!!

New Baby Card

This cad was for the April Challenge. I am on Team 1: Just Buggin' Away

The challenge was to use the card feature in one of the cartridge. Since I just had a baby, I though it appropriate to use the New Arrival cartridge so that way I could learn all the neat images on here to use in my daughter's baby album!!!

This tag was made with the Martha Stewart Valentine Punch and it says congratulations.

Easter Card

This is a simple Easter card that I made. I used Zooballoo for the jackrabbit window feature.  I put a white pom pom as his tail and skittles for easter eggs in the grass. I used my new Studio G stamp for the saying and repeated it a second time. I also tried distressing the paper by sanding it....didn't turn out as I had hoped......Thanks for looking!!!

SImple Flower Card

Flowery Simple Card
This card (I can't figure out how to turn it around) was used for a swap.  It was my first attempt at distressing. I used distress ink on the edges. Walk in my garden was used for the flowers. The challenge for the card was to put a button on the card. So I made a bow and put the button on top. Tanks for looking!!

St. Patrick's Day Card

St. Patrick's Day Card:

Here is the card that I made to send to my family for St. Patrick's Day. The front I used George Basic Shape for the square and Paper Doll Dress Up for the Shamrock.  I used my wonderful scor pal to scor the edges of the white square. The green background was embossed with the Swiss dots cuttlebug folder.  The inside is the first of my SCAL cuts!! I am so proud that it was so easy to weld those letters!!!  The stamps in the corners are from Studio G.....using Studio G gold ink!! Thanks for looking!!!

St. Patrick's Day

Envelope:
Card:

This is what I spent today doing. I wanted to try and use the paperdoll cartridge because I knew there were items I could use for St. Partick's Day. And the Alphalicious cartridge has the word "Lucky" on it. So I threw this card together to give to my husband with his "lucky" boxers for St. Patrick's Day.  His name is Patrick, so we celebrate it as his day!!!

This was my first attempt at the blending technique. I used colored pencils and baby gel. Thanks to Farmin-Nana!!! I was given the stamped image and loved it!!! I used the Happy Birthday collage cuttlebug folder. My mom loved this card!!! Thanks for looking!!

Anniversary Card

Front:
This was a card that I made for my parents anniversary. I used D'vine swirls cuttlebug folder.  The flowers are from the Brides collection confetti with gold stickles in the center. Each flower is placed by a foam dot. There is a white ribbon with "Love" written on it. In the center, "Love is the golden thread that ties our hearts together."  Thanks for looking!!!
