December TGF Challenge

Good morning to everyone!! I hope everyone is partaking in some wonderful Holiday time!! I just love the spirit of Christmas!!  Today I wanted to share with you a winter card that I made for the December challenge over at The Greeting Farm.  Here is my entry.
I am obsessed with shaker cards right now and when I found snowflake sequins I knew I would be able to use my snow globe Styrofoam  balls to add another touch of winter!!  For this card I used The Greeting Farm Sing Hello (girl), Happy Winter (sentiment) and Holiday Blessings (trees).  I also made the snow bank pop out a little to give the card extra dimension.  I just love coloring with my copics, but I couldn't tell you what colors I use….sorry!!! Next time I will keep track of the colors.

Now, I have 2 children, so the second card I made I had to add the boy from Happy Winter and place him on there.

Thanks for stopping by!! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!

The Greeting Farm November Challenge

WoW! I cannot believe I haven't posted in a year!!! I guess I am one of those "wanted one, got one but never uses it" kind of bloggers! So what better then to use it to enter a contest? Well, I absolutely LOVE The Greeting Farm stamps. This is my first challenge with them. This month is to make a card with a "give thanks" theme. My latest purchase is Sassy Suzi. She is so cute!  When she arrived, I immediately knew what paper to partner her with!!!  The paper is from a fall stack from DCWV. Both Sassy Suzi and the "thank you" sentiment are from The Greeting farm.  I am so thankful that they started making sentiment stamps (and matching dies!!!!)

Thanks for stopping by!

My First Design Team!

I am so excited to announce that I made it on my first ever Design Team!! In May of 2014 I won my first Prima Doll stamp. I fell in love with them because it took me back to my childhood days of paper dolls. I was so disappointed to learn there were no boy stamps. After looking at Pinterest, I discovered C Thru the Woods boy stamps. She is a very nice lady who designs the boys after her own kids! What better inspiration!! Anyway, I ordered as many as I could afford at the time and have been playing with them. She put out a design team call and I submitted. She selected me!!! How exciting, right? Well she asked for a bio and if I had a blog. Well, I wanted a blog years ago and haven't used it in 2 years!! Wow, I didn't realize it had been that long. Prior to today, I only used it to keep the Studio G stamps as a reference. I have so many of them I have had to stop collecting them. Fortunately, they come in handy for my doll tags!!  So here is the link to my introduction and I promise to post more photos of my creations. And who kows, maybe one day I will have more then 10 followers :)
